We have been having some crazy lightning storms lately. I have never really tried to shoot lightning before, so I thought I would give it a try. Here are a couple shots. They could have been better...but for a first try, it is what it is.
I love summertime...especially at Dusk. Here are a few shots taken over the course of the summer that show just how colorful Summer nights can be in Utah.
I have been lucky enough to travel internationally for work, and have been to Scotland and London a number of times. These pictures are from one of those trips.
Last week, Amy and I had the opportunity to go on a Mexican Riviera cruise for our 10 year anniversary (June 27, 2010). There wasn't much time for picture taking, but I was able to get a few shots in here and there. I didn't have a tripod, and some shots were taken from a moving boat, but overall, I think they turned out decent:
I personally believe that almost all good pictures are great by themselves...WITHOUT having to use Photoshop or other such programs to make them "better". But I also believe there are legitimate reasons to use the program and so I figure I'd better learn how to use it. I don't know whats worse at this point....my amateur pictures, or my rookie Photoshop skills. Don't answer that! The good news? I can only get better from here.
